Contemplative Creativity Lab: I-Ching Divination, The Six Coin Method [Online]

The I-Ching, or the book of changes, is an ancient study of yin and yang energies. The ancient Chinese looked to the I-Ching to study the cycles in nature and human lives. Learn how to ask questions, throw coins, and receive wisdom from the I-Ching in this beginner's workshop. No experience required.

Equipment:
- Five pennies, One Dime (or Five Dimes, and One Penny)
- A Copy of the I-Ching (any translation works, however I currently like to use: The I Ching Workbook by R.L. Wing)
- paper and pencil

Every Creativity Lab is different and has included ink and brush, movement, photography and contemplative writing. What links these is the ground of meditation which allows for fresh perception to be in the forefront. So, we give meditation instruction and sit for a short time before we move into some type of exploration. Join us!
