Join us for a gentle, grounding afternoon devoted to blooming into your intuition.

Through meditation, feng shui, and Lenormand cards, we will gather in an intimate setting to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore how flowers can bring our inner and outer worlds back into balance.

Together, we will co-create a sensory and reflective experience centered on beauty, intuition, and connection. Guests will be guided through meditation, floral contemplation, card readings, and simple feng shui teachings designed to invite clarity, harmony, and fresh energy into everyday life and the home.

Feng shui is the mindful art of shaping the energy of our spaces—offering guidance for cultivating balance, beauty, and intention in the way we live. Lenormand is a 19th-century divination deck of 36 symbolic cards. Using intuitive storytelling, they give direct insight and perspective into specific questions and guidance for everyday life.

Hosted by Anjie Cho and Michelle Bonfils, this intimate two-hour workshop invites you to:

  • Experience a guided meditation to connect with the qi (life force energy) of a flower

  • Explore the practice of feng shui through flowers and sensory awareness

  • Receive personal and collective Lenormand card guidance

  • Exchange and receive flowers and words of appreciation in community

  • Learn a simple floral feng shui ritual for the home

The afternoon is designed to be experiential, hands-on, and deeply connective—with space for reflection, conversation, and meaningful exchange.

All materials, botanical stems, and light refreshments will be provided.

Ready to slow down and reconnect this summer?

Full Bloom: A Meditative Summer Ikebana Immersion is a 3-week online experience where you’ll learn the art of Japanese flower arranging as a practice of mindfulness and creative expression.

Ikebana is not simply about arranging flowers—it is a practice of presence. Each stem, each line, each moment of placement becomes an opportunity to awaken your awareness and deepen your connection to the natural world.

Together, we will explore the relationship between heaven, earth, and human, using seasonal materials as our teachers.

This is a space to:

  • Cultivate mindfulness through creative practice

  • Learn foundational ikebana techniques and principles

  • Express your unique voice through nature

  • A deeper sense of calm and presence

  • The gift to create meaningful flower arrangements at home

Slow down and listen to the flowers.

In this seasonal ikebana workshop, we will explore the quiet poetry of autumn through the Japanese art of flower arrangement.

As autumn begins and daily life grows busier, ikebana offers an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and return to center. Rooted in awareness, simplicity, and connection with nature, ikebana invites us to slow down and notice the subtle beauty of seasonal change.

Together, we will explore flower arranging as a contemplative mindfulness practice that cultivates presence, spaciousness, and harmony with the natural world. Designed for all skill levels, this workshop weaves together ikebana instruction with Buddhist and Taoist perspectives on impermanence, balance, and beauty.

hosted by: New York Insight Meditation Center

Step out of the noise and busy pace of Manhattan for a special evening bringing together guided meditation, sound, and hands-on creative practice as a way to slow down, let go, and be with your experience as it unfolds.

Feng shui, ikebana, and dharma teacher Anjie Cho will guide the evening, working with simple anchors like the breath, sound, and flowers as a focus for present moment awareness.

The evening also features a sound bath led by composer and musician Jeremiah Cymerman, offering a chance to rest, receive, and allow the body to settle.

That same quality of attention will be carried into a hands-on creative process of creating a mandala with flowers. We’ll close with reflections and an opportunity to share with the community. You’ll leave more grounded and settled.

A Seasonal Feng Shui Workshop with Anjie Cho

Spring invites renewal. In feng shui, this season corresponds to the Wood element — growth, vitality, and upward movement. As nature awakens, we are offered the opportunity to gently release what feels stagnant and create space for fresh energy.

In this educational workshop, Anjie Cho will introduce foundational feng shui principles related to seasonal shifts and the impact of our environment on meditation and well-being.

Participants will learn accessible space clearing techniques, understand how clutter affects qi (life force energy), and explore simple ways to refresh their homes with intention. This class blends practical feng shui wisdom with mindful awareness, making it ideal for meditators, spiritual practitioners, and anyone seeking a grounded way to begin again this spring.

You will leave with:

* A deeper understanding of spring energy in feng shui
* Practical tools to clear and uplift your home
* Guidance for aligning your space with your intentions
* Renewed clarity and inspiration for the season ahead

All are welcome. No prior feng shui experience is required.
